I want to walk you through a few steps you can take to book your next client right away!
Ready? Let's dive in:
Step 1: Identify Your Offering
First things first, get clarity around what you want to sell. The more specific you are the better. For example, if you have a few different offerings, I want you to pick ONE. Pick the one you want to sell because then you'll know the specific person you want to sell it to. Each one of your offerings has a unique ideal client so pick one offering and then get ready to sell it.
Step 2: Identify Your Ideal Client
As I mentioned above, each offering has a unique ideal client for it. So I want you to get specific and identify who this offering is specifically for. What area of business are they in? What is their current issue that you solve? Where do they hang out? Write down as many traits as you can think of that line a person up with your offering.
Step 3: Take Action
Now that you have clarity around what you are selling and to who, I want you to take action by doing a few things:
a) Make a list of 5+ people you know who would be interested in your offering
b) Create a value offering or invitation to reach out to them and offer them a call followed by a pitch of your offering or simply inviting them into your offering
c) Go and make the invitation!
Keep repeating this process until you make a sale! Just because somebody says no it doesn't mean that you can't sell. There is someone out there who wants what you have to offer, you just have to go find them and connect with them.
