Living on the beach and going for long walks daily, taking naps every day, traveling, taking random days off and having flexibility in my schedule while managing a team while serving multiple clients and making a profit is something I dreamed of for a long time. Now, it’s my reality.

THIS is the business and life that I wanted to build, and I made it happen. I know that if I was able to dream up this life and business and turn it into my reality that you can do it too. It’s why I have dedicated my coaching business to helping others build their own profitable business around their dream lifestyle.

What I want to do today is give you a breakdown of what my day-to-day schedule looks like and share the practical steps I took to make it happen so that you can create your dream schedule too!

MY WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Monday: Marketing + Content Day

7:00-8:00 AM Wake up, make coffee and do mindset work

8:00-9:00 AM Breakfast and get ready

9:00-12:-00 PM Create blog content and marketing content

12:00-1:00 PM Lunch break (eat and watch Youtube videos or an episode of a show and take a nap)

1:00-3:00 PM Respond to emails, check in with clients, check of any other pending to-do’s

3:00-4:00 PM Read, do a course or some sort of educational business activity

4:00-5:00 PM Watch TV

5:00-6:00 PM Dinner

6:00-8:00 PM Walk on the beach and workout

8:00-10:00 PM TV and/or read a non business book

10:30PM Bed Time

Tuesday: Client Calls Day

7:00-8:00 AM Wake up, make coffee and do mindset work

8:00-9:00 AM Breakfast and get ready

9:00-12:-00 PM Client Calls

12:00-1:00 PM Lunch break (eat and watch Youtube videos or an episode of a show and take a nap)

1:00-3:00 PM Client Calls

12:00-1:00 PM Lunch break (eat and watch Youtube videos or an episode of a show and take a nap)

1:00-3:00 PM Client Work

3:00-4:00 PM Read, do a course or some sort of educational business activity

4:00-5:00 PM Watch TV

5:00-6:00 PM Dinner

Saturday: Therapy + Fun Day

7:00-9:00 AM Wake up, make coffee and do mindset work

12:00-1:00 PM Lunch break (eat and watch Youtube videos or an episode of a show and take a nap)

1:00-10:00 PM Do something fun! Spend time with family, friends or visit a muesum

Sunday: Rest/Unplug

8:00-9:00 AM Wake up, make coffee and do mindset work

9:00 AM Walk on the beach

10:00-11:00 AM Shower/Get Dressed

11:00 AM -10:30 PM Rest, read, unplug, watch a movie, get coffee or brunch with a friend

TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR DREAM SCHEDULE

Okay, now that you can see what my typical weekly schedule looks like let’s talk about what I did to put it into place and how you can use these tips to implement your own.

Before I ever even had this schedule I sat down and wrote down what my dream schedule would look like. I want to encourage you to sit down with a blank sheet of paper and ask yourself “what would my ideal week look like?” Write down every day of the week and fill it in with what you would like each day to look like. Don’t feel pressure around this, simply visualize each day and how you would like it to flow. Know that there is no wrong or right way to do this. It’s all about what works for YOU.

I created boundaries around that schedule

Once I knew what my ideal schedule was I created the boundaries for me and others to respect that schedule. For example, only allowing clients to schedule calls with me on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s between 11:00AM-3:00PM by only offering that as my availability. Setting my business and work hours as Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm and communicating that to clients via contracts and verbal communication.

I allowed room for change and flexibility

The trick to having a flexible schedule is being flexible! That means that as changes occur in your life or things shift it’s okay to shift and change your schedule too. Maybe one day looks different than it normally does or you take a client call on a day you normally wouldn’t or you travel. Maybe it’s a bigger change like having kids and shifting your work hours during summer vs. school. Whatever it may be, remember that you are the boss and you get to decide what your day to day looks like…so let yourself decide!
