Entrepreneur's Guide to Investing: The Who in Investing

When it comes to investing one of the biggest factors that comes into play is the “who”.

Who are you investing in?

I want to dive into this topic because I believe that there are a lot of misconceptions around it amongst entrepreneurs.

I want to make it really clear that when we are investing in our business or in our life we are ultimately investing in ourselves.

In other words, when you invest the “who” you are investing in is YOU.

Hear me out:

If you invest in hiring house cleaners, you are investing in giving yourself more time and less work.

If you invest in hiring a VA, you are giving yourself more space to grow your business.

If you invest in a personal trainer, you are giving yourself health.

If you invest in a business coach, you are giving yourself business knowledge and guidance to run your business.

At the end of the day, any investments you choose to make ultimately and directly impact YOU.

Some of the best questions you can ask yourself when looking at the possibility of investing is:

What do I need right now?

What does my business need right now?

When you give yourself the space to genuinely ask and answer these questions you’ll find that the answers are there. Then, when you take action on those answers and give yourself what you need you end up positively impacting both your business and your life. When you find that missing piece, it completes the entire puzzle and ultimately impacts the entire picture.

Instead of fighting fires, ask yourself what you need and give it to yourself. When you start to approach your business and your life that way you truly start to set yourself up for success.

You are the one you are investing in and you are the one that is most worth investing in.

Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself. Do it boldly, unashamedly and regularly!
