Now let’s talk about how to create your monthly marketing and sales calendar. This is the strategy you are going to use at the beginning of every single month to help you show up consistently to convert.

The first thing you want to do is decide on what you want to sell that month. When it comes to selling your products or services, I personally recommend selling one thing for anywhere between 60-90 days. The bigger the price point the longer you should promote it.

Once you’ve decided on what you are going to sell that month, you’ll list it at the top of your calendar. 

The rest is based on your individual content channel strategy. For this example, we’re going to base it on the strategy of posting to a blog four times per month, once per week.

First, we’re going to go into the content bank and pull 4 topics that we can share that are listed under this offer. We are going to make them the topics of each blog post. 

Then, from those same topics, we are going to pull tips from each topic to create social media posts.

Then, we’re going to email our list (if you have one) and let them know about the new blog post that was published that week along with a short pitch for the offer that month.

Essentially what we are doing is taking one topic and and we are going wide with it for the week. If you decided you are going to publish on your content channel 2 times per month, you can use two weeks to dive into one topic and use the secondary week to continue promoting it from a different angle. For example, you can say things like “have you read the latest blog article?” or position it with a different pain point and invite people to go read it. Remember that you want to promote content double the amount it took you to create it and that quality is better than quantity. The key here agains is consistency.

Now that you have your marketing and sales calendar for the month, it’s time to start showing up.
